Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Scan2Order platform at scan2order.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service

Scan2Order is a QR-based digital menu platform that enables restaurants, cafes, bars, hotels, and other hospitality businesses to create and manage digital menus accessible via QR codes. The Service includes:

• QR code generation and customization for menus
• Digital menu creation and management
• Multi-language support (up to 31 languages)
• Analytics and reporting on menu engagement
• Optional module add-ons (e.g., ordering, reservations, feedback)
• Subscription management and billing

Account Registration

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for business use by hospitality establishments.

Account Responsibilities

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update any information that changes
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Subscription & Billing

Plans

Scan2Order offers multiple subscription tiers designed to meet different business needs:

Module Add-ons

In addition to base subscription plans, you may purchase optional module add-ons to extend the functionality of your account. Add-ons are billed separately and can be added or removed at any time. Changes to modules take effect at the next billing cycle.

Billing & Payment

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected)
• Prices are displayed in the currency applicable to your region and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for all fees associated with your subscription and add-ons
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after a grace period

Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, with prorated billing for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.

Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for certain plans. At the end of a trial, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You will retain access to your plan features until the end of the paid period
• After cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may issue refunds at our discretion in the following cases:

• Service outages lasting more than 48 consecutive hours
• Billing errors caused by our system
• Cancellation within 14 days of initial subscription (first-time subscribers only)

Reactivation

If you cancel and later wish to reactivate, you may do so through your account. Previous data may not be recoverable if the 30-day retention window has passed.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or display content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Use the platform for any purpose other than its intended use as a digital menu and hospitality management tool
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without authorization
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
• Circumvent any usage limits or restrictions associated with your subscription plan

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these usage guidelines without notice or refund.

Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Scan2Order and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the platform (menus, images, descriptions, translations). By uploading content, you grant Scan2Order a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Service Availability & Support

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible. Support response times vary by plan tier, with higher plans receiving priority support.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• Scan2Order shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption resulting from use of the Service

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scan2Order, its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
